The Roodepoort Copper (''Aloeides dentatis'') is a species of butterfly in the Lycaenidae family. It is found in Lesotho and South Africa. The wingspan is 22–26 mm for males and 24–28 mm females. Adults are on wing from August to November and from February to March. There are two generations per year.〔Woodhall, S. Field Guide to Butterflies of South Africa, Cape Town: Struik Publishers, 2005.〕 The larvae of the nominate subspecies feed on ''Hermannia depressa'' and ''Lotononis eriantha''. Larvae of ssp. ''maseruna'' feed on ''Hermannia jacobeifolia''.
